I’m totally with your husband: firmly scooped ice cream is the bomb. My favourite was totally Baskin Robbins Mint Chocolate chip because of the crunchy little chocolate bits. *sigh* I wish it were dairy-free. Looks delicious Ashton!

oh how cool-I love that the Baskin Robbins style mint choc chip has those slivers of chocolate! This is my fiance’s fave flavor so I should whip him up some of this!

I love chocolate mint ice cream. I’d never thought about using magic shell in the ice cream maker. I worry about it getting stuck in barrel. Could you freeze the magic shell in a plastic container and then chop it up quickly and mix it in at the end just before transferring the ice cream to the freezer? Maybe it wouldn’t stick to the sides. This is a favorite flavor at our house and I will have to try it. Thanks for sharing.
